Today, our journey officially begins with the early morning jeep drive from Kathmandu to Syafrubesi, which is the gateway to the Langtang Valley Trek. The long drive offers you a journey with a taste of the diversified landscapes and local lifestyle of Nepalese people. The roadway to Syafrubesi is mixed of the paved and unpaved sections that can be bumpy and rough at some sections. This day offers you with the beautiful and scenic terrace farming, traditional local villages, cultural insights, lush hillsides and the local market. The trek from Syafrubesi to Lama Hotel is the first section of the Langtang Valley Trek, which offers you the blend of natural beauty and the gradual ascending along with the gentle acclimatization. Today, we will be doing an uphill climb through the rhododendron and maple forest along with the Langtang river in Langtang National Park. We might get to witness the endangered species like Red Panda, Langur monkey, Himalayan Black Bear and other varieties of species of the birds. You will cross several suspension bridges over the river which will add a bit of excitement offering you the picturesque views. The trail today begins gradually with a descent to the Langtang Khola, followed by a continuous series of the ascents and descents. Today you will cross the Bamboo village and Rimche Village before actually reaching the beautiful village Lama Hotel.
Walking hours: 6/7 hours.
As we start walking today, will start getting the glimpse of snowcapped mountains making us even more excited and joyful. Today the trail is characterized by the lush forests of maple, oak and rhododenfron, breathtaking mountain view of Langtang Lirung (7,245m) and a rise in elevations. The trail involves a steady climb along with the several steep sections with the paths well marked and maintained. We will continue our walk following the Langtang Khola crossing many other small streams. Today we will pass by the villages called Ghoda Tabela, Thangshyap and Chamki. These villages have some small teahouses which is the good spot for the rest and a meal. Today’s trail makes a great transition from the dense forests to alpine meadows as you approach the Langtang Valley. Langtang Valley is a charming settlement region of the Tamang ethnicity surrounded by the towering peaks. This village was greatly impacted by the massive earthquake of 2015 which has been rebuilt with the substantial efforts. As you approach Langtang Village, you will see multiple of Buddhist prayer flags, chortens and mani walls.
Walking hours: 4/5 hours.
Today, as we begin or walk, we start feeling the thin cold mountain air. We will pass several small streams and mani walls with the inscriptions of the prayers. We will get to see the Panoramic view of Langtang Lirung (7,245m), Kyanjin Ri (4,400m), Tserko Ri (5000m). The trail from Langtang Valley to Kyanjin Gompa comprises of a gentle and gradual ascent which makes it easier to make a gradual ascent than the previous sections. Today’s trail continues to follow the Langtang Khola, with the several crossings over the wooden bridges. You will pass by Mundu and Singdum which are the small settlements where you can take breaks and enjoy the scenery. Today’s final destination will be the Kyanjin Gompa, a Tibetan Buddhist Monastery. This area has a significant influence of the Tibetan culture and tradition. Also, nearby Kyanjin Gompa there is a cheese factory which you can visit on this day or the next day.
Walking hours: 4/5 hours.
Today, we will start our early morning hike up to Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) for witnessing the sunrise along with the spectacular panoramic views of the Langtang region. You can also climb to Tserko Ri (5,000m) if you want to see the mountain ridges, glaciers and mountain vistas. Today, you can stroll around the Kyanjin Gompa once you descend down and explore the heart of this entire Langtang Valley Trek.
Walking hours:7/8 hours.
Today, you will walk from the altitude open valley, Kyanjin Gompa down to the dense forests of Lama Hotel showcasing a variety of flora and fauna along the trail. This involves the retracing of your previous foot steps through the Langtang Valley. You will descend through the beautiful landscapes, passing through the Tamang villages and terrains you last ascended. You will get chance to enjoy the reverse perspective of the majestic mountain views and have meal collecting all the beautiful nostalgic moments. You may get a glimpse of wildlife such as langur monkeys, Himalayan Thar, Himalayan Black Bear, and varieties of bird species as you descend down.
Walking hours: 6/7 hours.
The trek back from Lama Hotel to Syafrubesi marks the final stretch of the Langtang Valley Trek. You will conclude your adventure journey by descending down through the lush forests with the scenic view of the return sections. You will walk along the dense forests of maple, oak and rhododendron with plenty of opportunity to witness the wildlife. You will cross by the Rimche and Bamboo villages respectively which provide you the beautiful spots to take rest and refreshment. As you descend even further, you will see the forest becoming more diverse. Returning back to Syafrubesi marks the ending of this adventurer trekking journey.
Today, you will drive back from Syafrubesi to Kathmandu as, Syafrubesi is the gateway to return back to the Kathmandu valley. Once you reach back to the city, you will be transferred to the nice hotel in Thamel. You can also stroll around the markets of Thamel and take souvenir back home. You can explore cute cafes, bars ,dinning places and enjoy the night.

On day 6, you will be trekking from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa which will be nearly 4/5 hours of walk and on day 7, you will be trekking from Kyanjin Gompa to Kyanjin Ri and back to Kyanjin Gompa which will take 4/5 hours respectively.
You will get to observe the rebuilding civilization of Langtang village which was greatly affected by Earthquake of 2015.
